Description
These 2 Ingredient Apple Pie Donut Holes are a quick and cozy dessert made with just biscuit dough and apple pie filling. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, they’re perfect for satisfying a sweet craving in minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (about 8 biscuits)
- 1 cup apple pie filling
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or saucepan over medium heat until hot enough for frying.
- Cut each biscuit into quarters. Scoop a small amount of apple pie filling and wrap biscuit dough around it, pressing gently to seal.
- Carefully place filled dough balls into the hot oil in batches. Fry for 2–3 minutes, turning as needed, until golden brown.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Chop apple pie filling if pieces are too large to seal easily inside the dough.
- For added flavor, roll warm donut holes in cinnamon sugar or drizzle with glaze.
- Swap apple pie filling with cherry or blueberry for a twist.
