Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 sandwich buns
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker in a single layer.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
- Add the softened cream cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Remove the chicken and shred it using two forks.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir with the cream cheese and ranch mixture until combined.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
- Spoon the warm chicken mixture onto sandwich buns.
- Serve immediately.
