Description

Crispy air fryer apple pie taquitos filled with warm cinnamon-spiced apples, coated in buttery cinnamon sugar for a quick and delicious dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 6 medium soft flour tortillas
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces or lightly mash for a smoother texture.
  2. Lay tortillas flat and place 2–3 tablespoons of apple filling along one edge.
  3. Roll each tortilla tightly into a taquito shape.
  4. Brush all sides with melted butter.
  5. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, then coat each taquito evenly.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  7. Place taquitos seam-side down in the basket with space between them.
  8. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.
