Description
Crispy, golden air fryer turnovers filled with warm, melty cheese, perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (about 250 g, thawed)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (100 g)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (50 g)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3–5 minutes.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into 4–6 squares.
- Mix cheddar, mozzarella, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Place cheese mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold into triangles and seal edges with a fork.
- Whisk egg and milk, then brush over turnovers.
- Lightly oil air fryer basket and arrange turnovers with space between.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Do not overfill to prevent leakage.
- Flip halfway for even browning if needed.
- Add herbs or chili flakes for extra flavor.
- Reheat in air fryer for best crispiness.
- Can be cooked from frozen with extra time.
