Description

Crispy, golden air fryer turnovers filled with warm, melty cheese, perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (about 250 g, thawed)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (100 g)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (50 g)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into 4–6 squares.
  3. Mix cheddar, mozzarella, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Place cheese mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold into triangles and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Whisk egg and milk, then brush over turnovers.
  7. Lightly oil air fryer basket and arrange turnovers with space between.
  8. Cook for 10–12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overfill to prevent leakage.
  • Flip halfway for even browning if needed.
  • Add herbs or chili flakes for extra flavor.
  • Reheat in air fryer for best crispiness.
  • Can be cooked from frozen with extra time.
