Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup cream cheese, softened (optional)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 package (about 8 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, shredded cheese, and cream cheese until well mixed.
- Add chopped onion, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and parsley. Stir until evenly combined.
- Roll out the pizza or crescent dough on a lightly floured surface. If using pizza dough, cut into 6 to 8 equal rectangles.
- Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of filling into the center of each dough piece.
- Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket and press edges firmly with a fork to seal.
- Brush the tops lightly with olive oil.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Place pockets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove carefully and let cool slightly before serving.
