Ingredients
- 2 large flour tortillas (20 to 25 cm diameter)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Marinara sauce for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 190°C for 2–3 minutes.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter evenly over one side of each tortilla.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the buttered sides.
- Place one tortilla on a flat surface with the buttered side facing down.
- Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Top with the second tortilla with the buttered side facing up.
- Carefully transfer the stacked tortillas to the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 4–5 minutes until the tortillas are golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 1–2 minutes.
- Slice into wedges using a pizza cutter.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce if preferred.
