Description
Air Fryer Pizza Rolls are crispy, cheesy, and delicious pockets of pizza flavor made quickly in your air fryer. They’re crunchy on the outside, gooey inside, and perfect for snack time, game days, or a fun meal.
Ingredients
- Pizza dough (store‑bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- Marinara sauce (for dipping)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Pinch of salt
- Olive oil (for spraying)
Instructions
- Let the pizza dough rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes if refrigerated.
- On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick. Cut it into 3×3 inch squares.
- Place ~1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella and a few pepperoni slices onto the center of each square. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and a pinch of salt.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket and use a fork to crimp the edges tightly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375 °F (190 °C) for 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange pizza rolls in a single layer without overcrowding.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until the rolls are golden and crispy.
- Let them rest for a minute, then serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Don’t overfill the pockets to prevent leaking during cooking.
- You can swap or mix fillings—veggies, extra cheeses, cooked meats, etc.
- If making ahead, freeze the assembled rolls (unbaked) and cook from frozen (add a few extra minutes).
- To reheat, air fry at 350 °F for 5–7 minutes to restore crispiness.
- If you don’t have an air fryer, bake in a 400 °F oven for ~12–15 minutes until golden.
