Description

A refreshing fall-inspired sangria made with crisp white wine, apple cider, fresh fruit slices, and cinnamon sticks. Perfectly light, sweet, and festive for gatherings or cozy weekends.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) crisp white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc), chilled
  • 2 cups fresh apple cider, chilled
  • 1 large red apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 large pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced into rounds
  • 23 cinnamon sticks
  • Ice, for serving
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the apple, pear, and orange.
  2. Place sliced fruit and cinnamon sticks in a large glass pitcher.
  3. Pour in chilled white wine and apple cider. Gently stir to combine.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. To serve, fill glasses with ice, pour sangria over the top, and garnish with fresh herb sprigs if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh, unfiltered apple cider for best flavor.
  • Remove fruit if storing more than a day to prevent over-softening.
  • For a sparkling version, use sparkling apple cider added just before serving.
  • Add cranberries or pomegranate seeds for color and texture.
  • Can be made non-alcoholic with non-alcoholic wine or sparkling water.
