Description
A refreshing fall-inspired sangria made with crisp white wine, apple cider, fresh fruit slices, and cinnamon sticks. Perfectly light, sweet, and festive for gatherings or cozy weekends.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle (750 ml) crisp white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc), chilled
- 2 cups fresh apple cider, chilled
- 1 large red apple, thinly sliced
- 1 large pear, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, thinly sliced into rounds
- 2–3 cinnamon sticks
- Ice, for serving
- Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Thinly slice the apple, pear, and orange.
- Place sliced fruit and cinnamon sticks in a large glass pitcher.
- Pour in chilled white wine and apple cider. Gently stir to combine.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to blend flavors.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice, pour sangria over the top, and garnish with fresh herb sprigs if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh, unfiltered apple cider for best flavor.
- Remove fruit if storing more than a day to prevent over-softening.
- For a sparkling version, use sparkling apple cider added just before serving.
- Add cranberries or pomegranate seeds for color and texture.
- Can be made non-alcoholic with non-alcoholic wine or sparkling water.
