Description

This Baked Brie recipe is a warm and gooey appetizer topped with sweet pepper jelly and crunchy nuts. It’s simple, quick, and perfect for entertaining or cozy nights in, served with crackers, bread, or fresh fruit.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz brie cheese wheel
  • 1/3 cup pepper jelly jam
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unwrap the brie and lightly score the top in a crisscross pattern, making shallow cuts.
  3. Place the brie in a small oven-safe skillet or on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Spread the pepper jelly evenly over the top of the brie.
  5. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the jelly.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and gooey in the center.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve warm with crackers, sliced bread, or fruit.

Notes

  • Leave the rind on to help contain the melted cheese.
  • Swap pepper jelly with fig, apricot, or raspberry jam for different flavors.
  • Try drizzling honey or hot honey over the top for extra sweetness.
  • Use different nuts like almonds or pistachios for variety.
  • To reheat, warm gently in the oven or microwave in short bursts.
