Description

Baked Broccoli Cheese Balls are a flavorful and wholesome snack or appetizer made with steamed broccoli, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese. They’re baked to golden perfection and offer a crispy, cheesy bite without frying.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed and finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Ensure broccoli is steamed and finely chopped.
  3. In a bowl, mix broccoli, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, and pepper until the mixture holds together.
  4. Form into small balls using your hands and place them on the baking sheet.
  5. Lightly spray or brush with oil.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and firm.

Notes

  • Drain and squeeze broccoli well to avoid excess moisture.
  • Serve with marinara, ranch, or garlic yogurt dip.
  • For added heat, mix in chili flakes or paprika.
  • Use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free version.
