Description

A no‑bake, fluffy dessert that channels all the fun of a banana split—banana, pineapple, whipped topping, and optional mix‑ins—for a light, playful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in juice — do not drain
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) banana cream instant pudding mix
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (thawed)
  • Optional: banana slices, chocolate chips, chopped nuts, maraschino cherries, mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, pour in the crushed pineapple with its juice.
  2. Sprinkle the banana cream instant pudding mix over the pineapple and stir until the powder is completely dissolved and the mixture begins to thicken.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping gently with a spatula so the mixture stays light and fluffy.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or longer) to let it chill and set.
  5. Spoon into serving dishes, and if desired top with banana slices, chocolate chips, chopped nuts or maraschino cherries just before serving.
