Description
This easy beef stroganoff made with pantry staples like ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, and gravy mix is a quick, budget-friendly dinner that’s creamy, comforting, and perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 2 packs egg noodles (about 12 ounces each)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 packets gravy mix
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
- While noodles cook, brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
- Reduce heat and stir in the cream of mushroom soup and gravy mix. Stir until smooth and creamy. Add a splash of water if the sauce is too thick.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet and stir to coat evenly with sauce.
- Heat through for a few minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
- Add sour cream at the end for a more classic stroganoff flavor.
- Sauté onions or mushrooms for extra depth.
- Season with garlic powder, black pepper, or paprika for added flavor.
- Swap ground beef for ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Add a splash of milk or water when reheating to revive the sauce.
