Description
Sweet, creamy, and spicy jalapeño poppers filled with melted brie and topped with blueberry jam for a unique and elegant appetizer.
Ingredients
- 10–12 fresh jalapeños, halved and seeded
- 200 g brie cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup blueberry jam
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray.
- Slice jalapeños in half and remove seeds and membranes.
- Arrange jalapeños cut side up and brush with olive oil.
- Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Fill each half with brie cheese cubes.
- Top with a teaspoon of blueberry jam.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until cheese is melted and peppers are tender.
- Cool slightly and serve warm.
Notes
- Remove all seeds for less heat.
- Do not overfill to prevent spilling.
- Use thick jam for best texture.
- Serve immediately for best flavor.
- Brie rind is edible and melts well.
