Description

Cheese Puff Snacks are golden, fluffy bites with crispy edges and a soft, cheesy center. They’re quick, comforting, and perfect as a party appetizer, movie snack, or savory bite anytime.

Ingredients

1 cup grated cheese (Gouda or Cheddar)

100 g cream cheese

2 eggs

1/2 cup almond flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Optional: 2 tbsp fresh herbs (chives, parsley, or oregano)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix grated cheese and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and stir until fully combined.
  4. Incorporate almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix into a thick dough.
  5. Scoop tablespoon portions of dough onto the baking tray, spacing evenly.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until golden and puffed.
  7. Cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • Swap almond flour with coconut flour for a sweeter flavor.
  • Use spicy cheese or add cayenne for heat.
  • Mix in olives, sun-dried tomatoes, or herbs for variation.
  • Best enjoyed warm but can be stored and reheated.
