Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, sealing the seams.
  3. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
  5. Unroll the second can of dough and lay it on top of the cream cheese layer, pressing the seams together.
  6. Pour the melted butter evenly over the top layer.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the remaining ½ cup sugar with the cinnamon, and sprinkle it over the buttered dough.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden brown and set.
  9. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
