Description

Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a quick, flavorful handheld meal with tender chicken, creamy garlic sauce, and gooey melted cheese all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Perfect for busy nights, meal prep, or a satisfying comfort food fix in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-sized cubes (or thighs for juicier results)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas (whole wheat or gluten-free if preferred)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup creamy garlic sauce (store-bought or homemade with mayo, sour cream, minced garlic, and lemon juice)
  • Fresh parsley, optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked. Set aside.
  3. Lay tortillas flat, spread a layer of creamy garlic sauce, add cooked chicken, and sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Roll up the wraps tightly. For extra crispiness, place seam-side down in a hot skillet and toast until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Swap chicken breast for thighs or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Try different proteins like turkey or plant-based alternatives.
  • Experiment with cheese blends such as pepper jack or Monterey Jack.
  • Add extras like sautéed veggies, hot sauce, or ranch for flavor variety.
  • Best stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in a skillet to restore crispiness.
