Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- For the Garlic Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix olive oil, spices, garlic, lemon juice, and yogurt in a bowl.
- Add chicken and coat well. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Heat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Whisk together all garlic sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Let chicken rest, then slice thinly.
- Serve with sauce, pita, or sides of choice.
