Description

Ultra-soft bakery-style cookies packed with chocolate chips and crunchy English toffee peanut candies, then dipped in smooth melted chocolate for a rich and decadent finish.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (220 g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) vanilla extract
  • 3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) salt
  • 1 cup (170 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (180 g) English Toffee Peanut M&M candies
  • 1 cup (180 g) English Toffee Peanut M&M candies, roughly chopped
  • 12 ounces (340 g) chocolate melting wafers or candy melts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and 1 cup of English Toffee Peanut M&M candies.
  7. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie and place 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
  8. Press 2–3 extra candies onto the tops of dough balls if desired.
  9. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers look slightly soft.
  10. Cool on baking sheet for 10–15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Melt chocolate wafers according to package instructions until smooth.
  12. Dip half of each cooled cookie into melted chocolate.
  13. Place on parchment paper and immediately sprinkle chopped candies over melted chocolate.
  14. Allow chocolate to set completely before serving.
