Description

Golden, flaky crescent rolls filled with a creamy crab and cheese mixture, perfect as an easy appetizer or warm, comforting snack.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation), well-drained
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, crab meat, and shredded mozzarella until evenly combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  4. Spoon a small amount of the crab and cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up each crescent starting from the wide end, enclosing the filling.
  6. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Drain crab meat well to avoid a watery filling.
  • Do not overfill the dough to prevent leaking.
  • Best served warm for maximum creaminess.
  • Reheat in the oven to maintain a crisp exterior.
