Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on, about 6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup lump crab meat
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons green onions, finely sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Cut a pocket into the thickest side of each salmon fillet without slicing all the way through.
- In a medium bowl, mix the chopped shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, green onions, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Spoon the seafood filling into each salmon pocket, gently pressing the mixture inside.
- Arrange the stuffed salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish.
- Drizzle olive oil lightly over the top of each fillet.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Fresh or canned crab meat can be used, but drain canned crab thoroughly.
- Panko breadcrumbs create a lighter, crispier stuffing texture.
- Add grated parmesan cheese to the filling for extra richness.
- A pinch of cayenne pepper or hot sauce can be added for heat.
- Make sure salmon fillets are thick enough to hold the stuffing.
