Description
Crunchy Nacho Cheese Doritos stuffed with a creamy, savory blend of smooth cream cheese and smoky turkey bits for a bold, bite-sized party snack that delivers irresistible crunch and richness.
Ingredients
- 1 large bag (9.25 oz / 262 g) Nacho Cheese Doritos
- 4 oz (113 g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 4 slices cooked smoky turkey strips, finely crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, crumbled cooked turkey strips, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley if using. Mix until smooth and evenly blended.
- Select large, unbroken Doritos. Using a small paring knife, carefully create a small slit along one edge of each chip without cracking it.
- Transfer the filling to a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped. Pipe a small amount of filling into each Dorito through the slit, being careful not to overfill.
- Place the filled Doritos in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes to allow the filling to firm slightly (optional).
- Arrange on a serving platter and serve immediately while crisp.
Notes
- Stuff chips just before serving to maintain maximum crunch.
- Prepare the filling up to 2 days ahead and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Store filled chips in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, though they may soften.
- Reheating is not recommended as chips will become soggy.
- For a vegetarian version, omit turkey and add chopped olives, peppers, or shredded cheese.
