Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season chicken strips with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Prepare three bowls: flour, whisked eggs with water, and panko mixed with Parmesan.
  3. Coat each chicken strip in flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry chicken in batches for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Mix melted butter, garlic, Parmesan, and parsley.
  8. Spoon or brush the garlic Parmesan mixture over hot chicken.
  9. Serve immediately.
