Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Oil for frying
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season chicken strips with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Prepare three bowls: flour, whisked eggs with water, and panko mixed with Parmesan.
- Coat each chicken strip in flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry chicken in batches for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, Parmesan, and parsley.
- Spoon or brush the garlic Parmesan mixture over hot chicken.
- Serve immediately.
