Description

These Crispy Pickle Cheese Bites are a quick and flavorful snack made with melted cheese, chopped dill pickles, and a hint of garlic. Crispy on the edges and gooey inside, they’re perfect for parties or late-night cravings.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs (optional)
  • Nonstick spray or parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick spray.
  2. In a bowl, mix cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, chopped pickles, garlic powder, and breadcrumbs until combined.
  3. Scoop small spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
  4. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until edges are golden and crispy.
  5. Let cool for a few minutes before removing to allow them to firm up.

Notes

  • Swap dill pickles for bread-and-butter pickles for a sweeter version.
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Use pepper jack or Colby Jack for variation in flavor.
  • Air fry at 375°F for 6–8 minutes as an alternative to baking.
  • Best served with ranch, garlic aioli, or spicy mustard.
