Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large croissants, sliced in half horizontally
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 4 slices cheese of choice (cheddar, American, or Swiss)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Slice croissants in half and set aside.
  2. Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and gently roll into loose balls.
  3. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and add butter or oil.
  4. Place beef balls on the hot surface and smash flat using a spatula. Season with salt and pepper.
