Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 Oreo cookies, halved or crushed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Form small balls using Oreo pieces and wrap cheesecake mixture inside each, sealing well.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk egg and milk together.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan.
- Coat each ball in flour mixture, dip in egg mixture, then coat again in flour.
- Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Cool slightly and serve with optional toppings like powdered sugar or chocolate drizzle.
