Description

Quick and elegant holiday brie crostini topped with seasonal jams, crunchy nuts, and a drizzle of honey, ready in just 10 minutes for effortless entertaining.

Ingredients

8 oz brie cheese, sliced

1 baguette, sliced into 16 pieces

1/4 cup fig jam, apricot jam, or cranberry sauce

1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or pistachios)

2 tbsp honey

Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to a low broil setting.
  2. Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and top each with a slice of brie.
  3. Broil on the lower rack for 3–5 minutes, until brie melts and bread edges turn golden.
  4. Remove from oven and top each crostini with a dollop of jam and a sprinkle of nuts.
  5. Arrange on a serving tray, drizzle with honey, and garnish with fresh rosemary.

Notes

  • Best served fresh, right after making.
  • Experiment with different jam and nut pairings like blueberry with walnuts or strawberry with almonds.
  • For a nut-free version, use only jam, honey, and herbs.
  • To keep bread softer inside, avoid pre-toasting before adding brie.
  • Make gluten-free by using a gluten-free baguette.
