Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch all butter pie crust, homemade or store-bought
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
