Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or place a wire rack over a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, stir together the mayonnaise and grated Parmesan until smooth.
- Arrange the chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
- Spread or brush the mayo–Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each tender.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the tenders are cooked through and golden.
- For extra crispiness, switch the oven to broil and broil for 2–3 minutes until the tops are lightly browned. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter coating, you can substitute Greek yogurt or sour cream for the mayonnaise.
- Add seasonings like garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, Italian seasoning, or ranch seasoning to the mayo mixture for extra flavor.
- If you don’t have chicken tenders, thin strips of chicken breast or thigh work too.
- Use a wire rack so heat circulates and the coating stays crispy; broiling at the end gives a nice golden-brown finish.
