These Easy Mexican Pizzas feature seasoned ground beef, refried beans, and melted cheese layered on a crispy flour tortilla, then topped with taco sauce or salsa. A fast and customizable dinner perfect for busy nights.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried cilantro
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 6 medium flour tortillas
- 1 cup refried beans
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup taco sauce or salsa
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add chopped onion and cook until soft.
- Stir in salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, dried cilantro, and cayenne. Cook for a few more minutes, then remove from heat.
- Lightly warm tortillas. Spread refried beans on each tortilla, then top with the beef mixture and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Place tortillas on a baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Drizzle with taco sauce or salsa before serving. Slice and enjoy.
