Description

These Easy Mexican Pizzas feature seasoned ground beef, refried beans, and melted cheese layered on a crispy flour tortilla, then topped with taco sauce or salsa. A fast and customizable dinner perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 6 medium flour tortillas
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup taco sauce or salsa

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add chopped onion and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, dried cilantro, and cayenne. Cook for a few more minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Lightly warm tortillas. Spread refried beans on each tortilla, then top with the beef mixture and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  5. Place tortillas on a baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Drizzle with taco sauce or salsa before serving. Slice and enjoy.
