Description
Easy Pizza Stuffed Bagel Bombs combine everything you love about pizza—cheesy, saucy, pepperoni goodness—wrapped inside a soft, golden bagel dough. Perfect for snacking, game day, or kid-friendly lunches.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups self-rising flour
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full fat recommended)
- ¼ tsp oregano
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup pepperoni slices (chopped or whole)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1 tbsp melted butter or 1 beaten egg (for brushing)
- Bagel seasoning, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine self-rising flour, Greek yogurt, oregano, garlic powder, and salt until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and slightly sticky. Adjust with more flour or yogurt as needed.
- Divide the dough into 8–10 pieces and flatten each into a 3–4 inch disc.
- Spoon 1–2 tsp pizza sauce into the center of each, followed by mozzarella and pepperoni.
- Fold edges over filling and pinch to seal into a ball. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter or beaten egg and sprinkle with bagel seasoning.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Cool slightly before serving warm and gooey.
Notes
- If you don’t have self-rising flour, use 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour + 2 ¼ tsp baking powder + pinch of salt.
- Customize with different meats, veggies, or cheeses.
- Freeze unbaked bombs and bake straight from frozen.
- For extra crispiness, reheat in air fryer or oven.
