Description

An easy, satisfying brunch menu prepared in just 1 hour featuring eggs, pancakes, sausage, toast, fruit, and juice—perfect for relaxed, stress-free entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups dry buttermilk pancake mix
  • 1 1/2 cups water (or as directed on pancake mix)
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 loaf sliced sourdough bread
  • 2 cups mixed fresh berries
  • 4 cups fresh orange juice
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage links

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cook the sausage links on a baking sheet for 15–20 minutes or until fully cooked and browned. Transfer to a 200°F (93°C) oven to keep warm.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pancake mix and water. Stir until just combined. Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat and cook pancakes in batches until golden on both sides. Keep warm in the oven.
  3. Whisk eggs with milk until smooth. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Cook the eggs, stirring gently, until just set and creamy.
  4. Toast sourdough slices in batches using a toaster or skillet.
  5. Wash and prepare the mixed berries. Arrange the cooked items, berries, and maple syrup on serving platters. Pour orange juice into a pitcher or individual glasses and serve.

Notes

  • Prepare pancake batter and wash berries the night before to save time.
  • Use a warm oven to keep items hot while finishing the rest of the meal.
  • You can substitute waffles for pancakes or include a baked egg dish for variation.
  • If serving platters are limited, use cutting boards or lined baking trays for presentation.
