Ingredients
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup margarine (such as BlueBonnet)
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (Nestle Toll House)
- 7 oz marshmallow creme (Jet-Puff)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, margarine, and evaporated milk.
- Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes while continuing to stir.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- Add marshmallow creme and vanilla extract. Stir until fully blended.
- Fold in chopped walnuts.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and smooth out the top.
- Let cool at room temperature for several hours or until set.
- Cut into squares and serve or store.
