Ingredients

  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup margarine (such as BlueBonnet)
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (Nestle Toll House)
  • 7 oz marshmallow creme (Jet-Puff)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, margarine, and evaporated milk.
  3. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes while continuing to stir.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  5. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla extract. Stir until fully blended.
  6. Fold in chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and smooth out the top.
  8. Let cool at room temperature for several hours or until set.
  9. Cut into squares and serve or store.
