Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 9 × 10.5 inches. Cut into 8 equal rectangles and arrange on the sheet.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Transfer into a zip-top bag and snip off one corner to pipe a strip of filling onto each rectangle, leaving a border.
  4. Beat the egg with water for an egg wash. Brush it onto the exposed pastry edges.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until puffed and golden. Let cool slightly before serving.
