Description

Ingredients

1 loaf French bread

1/2 to 3/4 cup pizza sauce

1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Toppings of choice (vegetables, cooked chicken, mushrooms, olives, etc.)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise to create two large pieces.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over each bread half, going all the way to the edges.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
  5. Add your favorite toppings—vegetables, cooked chicken, mushrooms, olives, etc.
  6. Place bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
