Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach, rinsed
- 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
- 1 apple, cored and chopped
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup almond milk (or plant-based milk of choice)
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (or almond/sunflower seed butter)
- Optional sweetener: honey or maple syrup, to taste
- Optional garnish: extra chia seeds or apple slice
Instructions
- Rinse spinach, slice banana, and core/chop apple.
- Add spinach, banana, apple, and chia seeds to blender. Blend on high for 30 seconds until smooth and bright green.
- Pour in almond milk and add peanut butter. Blend another 30 seconds until creamy and frothy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup if desired; pulse to combine.
- Pour into glasses, garnish with chia seeds or apple slice, and serve immediately.
