Ingredients

  • 1 large baguette (about 12 inches / 30 cm long)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (113 g)
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (170 g)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (60 g)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (20 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and place cut-side up on the baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over both halves, followed by cheddar and Parmesan.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden top, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  8. Remove from oven, cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
