Description

Garlic Butter Broiled Lobster Tails are a quick and luxurious seafood dish, featuring tender lobster meat brushed with a rich garlic-lemon butter and broiled to golden perfection. Perfect for date night, holidays, or any special meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut down the top of each lobster shell with kitchen shears, stopping at the tail fin. Gently lift the meat and rest it on top of the shell (butterfly style).
  2. Preheat oven to broil and position rack 6 inches from heat source.
  3. In a bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush generously with garlic butter.
  5. Broil for 8–10 minutes, basting halfway, until meat is opaque and lightly golden. Ensure internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
  6. Sprinkle with parsley and paprika, then serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Add cayenne or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Mix in thyme or dill for a different herb flavor.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese before broiling for extra richness.
  • Try grilling instead of broiling for smoky flavor.
