Description
Garlic Butter Broiled Lobster Tails are a quick and luxurious seafood dish, featuring tender lobster meat brushed with a rich garlic-lemon butter and broiled to golden perfection. Perfect for date night, holidays, or any special meal.
Ingredients
- 4 lobster tails
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Paprika, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Cut down the top of each lobster shell with kitchen shears, stopping at the tail fin. Gently lift the meat and rest it on top of the shell (butterfly style).
- Preheat oven to broil and position rack 6 inches from heat source.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush generously with garlic butter.
- Broil for 8–10 minutes, basting halfway, until meat is opaque and lightly golden. Ensure internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
- Sprinkle with parsley and paprika, then serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- Add cayenne or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Mix in thyme or dill for a different herb flavor.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese before broiling for extra richness.
- Try grilling instead of broiling for smoky flavor.
