Description

Garlic Butter Spaghetti Bowls are a fun twist on classic spaghetti night, combining saucy spaghetti with crispy garlic bread bowls for a comforting, all-in-one meal. Perfect for family dinners or entertaining guests, this dish is flavorful, satisfying, and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 5 Italian bread boules
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 1 pound spaghetti noodles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 3 cups pasta sauce (24 ounces)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sauté diced onion until soft.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned and no longer pink. Stir in minced garlic and cook briefly.
  4. Drain excess grease, then season with Italian seasoning, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add pasta sauce and stir to combine. Toss in the cooked spaghetti and mix until evenly coated.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Cut a circle out of the top of each bread boule and hollow out the center, leaving a sturdy shell.
  8. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley. Brush mixture over the inside and edges of the bread bowls.
  9. Fill each bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and edges of the bowls are golden and crispy.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use leftover spaghetti to save time.
  • Add mushrooms, bell peppers, or extra veggies for more flavor.
  • Try different cheeses like provolone or an Italian blend for variety.
  • Serve immediately to keep the bread from becoming soggy.
