Ingredients
- 1 loaf country French bread
- 2 garlic cloves, pressed
- 5 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 4 oz medium cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and line a baking sheet with foil.
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic, mayonnaise, cheddar, and mozzarella until well combined.
- Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and place cut-side up on the baking sheet.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over each bread half.
- Broil for 3–5 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly browned.
- Let cool slightly to set the cheese, then slice and serve warm.
