Ingredients
- 1 package large marshmallows
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- ½ cup milk chocolate chips
- Lollipop sticks or skewers
- Mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
- Sprinkles (optional, for decoration)
- Wax paper (for cooling)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
- Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave‑safe bowl: heat in 30‑second bursts, stirring between each until smooth.
- Insert a lollipop stick or skewer into each marshmallow, leaving enough stick for handling.
- Dip each marshmallow into the melted white chocolate, coating fully. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Hold above the wax paper until dripping stops, then place the pop on the lined sheet.
- Immediately press two mini chocolate chips into each pop to serve as eyes. Add sprinkles now if desired.
- Let the white chocolate set for ~30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate.
- Meanwhile, melt the milk chocolate chips in a clean bowl (using short bursts and stirring). Drizzle the milk chocolate over the pops for extra decoration.
- Return pops to the refrigerator for ~10 more minutes until fully set.
- Serve once the chocolate is firm and decorations are set.
Notes
- You can use dark chocolate or colored candy melts (orange, green, etc.) for variation.
- Add flavor extracts (mint, vanilla, etc.) to the melted chocolate for a twist.
- Chill the marshmallows briefly before dipping if the coating is not sticking well.
