Description

Juicy and flavorful Greek-style grilled chicken tenders marinated in olive oil, lemon, garlic, and herbs, delivering a fresh Mediterranean taste in a quick and healthy meal.


Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken tenders or chicken breast strips
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, yogurt, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix well.
  2. Add chicken tenders and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2–4 hours.
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and let excess drip off.
  5. Grill chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until lightly charred and fully cooked (internal temperature 75°C).
  6. Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve immediately with your preferred sides.

  • Marinating longer enhances flavor and tenderness.
  • Yogurt helps tenderize the chicken but can be omitted if needed.
  • Use fresh herbs instead of dried for a brighter flavor.
