Description

These Green Chili Ground Beef Egg Rolls are crispy, savory, and packed with bold Southwestern flavor. Perfect for parties, game days, or family dinners, each bite delivers juicy ground beef, green chiles, and spices wrapped in a golden, crunchy shell.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 white onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup diced green chiles (canned or fresh)
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1214 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent.
  2. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Mix in green chiles, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2–3 more minutes, then let cool slightly.
  5. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of an egg roll wrapper. Roll tightly, sealing edges with water. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
  6. Heat frying oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
