Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6–7 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
- Pour the chicken broth into the same skillet to deglaze the pan, scraping up the browned bits from the bottom.
- Add the prepared butter mixture to the skillet and stir continuously until it melts and forms a smooth sauce.
- Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken.
- Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for 2–3 minutes so it absorbs the flavors.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

- Chicken thighs can be used instead of chicken breasts for a juicier result.
- Cook the sauce over medium or medium-low heat to prevent the butter from separating.
