Description
This Holiday Spiced S’mores Dip combines melted chocolate and toasted marshmallows with warm spices for a cozy, campfire-style dessert you can make indoors. It’s quick, festive, and perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk or semisweet chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate bars)
- 2 cups mini or regular marshmallows
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- Optional: pinch of chili powder or ground ginger
- Optional: pinch of sea salt
- Dippers: graham crackers, cookies, fruit slices, pretzels, biscotti
Instructions
- Preheat oven or broiler to medium heat (about 375°F / 190°C).
- Spread chocolate evenly in an oven-safe skillet or small baking dish.
- Sprinkle cinnamon, nutmeg, and optional spices and salt over the chocolate.
- Top with marshmallows in a single even layer.
- Bake for 5–7 minutes, or until marshmallows are puffed and golden and chocolate is melted. Watch closely to prevent burning.
- Let cool for 1 minute, then serve warm with your favorite dippers.
Notes
- Add a drizzle of caramel or sprinkle of nuts before baking for extra flavor.
- Use dark chocolate for a less sweet, richer dip.
- Make individual portions using ramekins.
- Assemble ahead and refrigerate until ready to bake.
