Description

Homemade Chimichurri Sauce is a vibrant, herb-packed condiment made with fresh parsley, garlic, olive oil, and vinegar. Bold, zesty, and incredibly versatile, it pairs perfectly with grilled meats, vegetables, and more.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely minced or crushed
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons warm water

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the parsley, then finely chop it.
  2. Mince or crush the garlic cloves into a paste.
  3. In a bowl, combine parsley, garlic, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Add salt and black pepper and mix well.
  5. Stir in white wine vinegar and warm water.
  6. Slowly pour in olive oil while stirring until fully combined.
  7. Let the sauce rest at least 30 minutes before serving, or refrigerate 2–4 hours for deeper flavor.
