Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Stir just until combined.
- Fold in diced apples evenly.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
