Ingredients
- 200 ml fruit juice (strawberry, orange, lemon, mango, or preferred flavor)
- 30 g unflavored gelatin powder (about 3 packets)
- 80 g granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) water
- Neutral vegetable oil (for greasing molds)
- 50 g extra sugar for coating (optional)
Instructions
- Lightly grease silicone molds with vegetable oil and wipe off excess.
- In a small saucepan, combine fruit juice and water. Heat over low heat without boiling.
- Add sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
- Gradually sprinkle in gelatin while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Add lemon juice and stir 3–5 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat and carefully pour mixture into prepared molds.
- Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes, then refrigerate at least 2 hours until fully set.
- Gently remove gummies from molds.
- Roll in extra sugar if desired.
Notes
- Do not boil the mixture to prevent altering texture.
- Use 100% fruit juice for best flavor.
- Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 7 days.
- Separate sugar-coated layers with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Freezing is not recommended as it affects texture.
