Ingredients

1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed

2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional)

Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup low-sodium chicken stock

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional, like Sriracha)

1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss cubed chicken with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken in batches for 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in honey, chicken stock, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Stir and simmer for 3–5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return chicken to the pan, tossing to coat in sauce.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with red chili flakes and parsley. Serve hot over rice or with veggies.
