Ingredients
- 6 slices soft white bread or brioche
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 4 teaspoons mustard
- Baby lettuce leaves
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese and mustard until smooth.
- Lay 3 slices of bread on a clean surface. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over each slice.
- On the first slice, add 2 slices of cheddar cheese and baby lettuce leaves. Top with a second bread slice (spread side up), add 1 more slice of cheddar and more lettuce, and top with the third slice (spread side down). Press gently.
- Repeat with remaining 3 slices of bread to make a second sandwich stack.
- Cut each sandwich stack in half, secure with toothpicks, then slice into mini sandwiches around the toothpicks.
- Arrange on a serving tray and serve chilled or at room temperature.
