Description
A fun no-bake dessert made with soft glazed donuts filled with creamy Oreo cheesecake filling, layered like a burger and topped with crushed cookies and chocolate drizzle.
Ingredients
- 4 fresh glazed donuts, sliced in half horizontally
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream or thawed whipped topping
- 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 4–5 cookies)
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (optional)
- 2 tablespoons crushed Oreo cookies for garnish (optional)
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the crushed Oreo cookies until evenly combined.
- Slice each glazed donut horizontally to create a top and bottom bun.
- Place the bottom half of a donut on a serving plate.
- Spoon or pipe a generous layer of Oreo cheesecake filling onto the donut.
- Sprinkle extra crushed Oreo cookies over the filling if desired.
- Place the top donut half over the filling to form a donut burger.
- Repeat with remaining donuts and filling.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and garnish with extra Oreo crumbs and powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Use block cream cheese for the best thick cheesecake texture.
- Chill the filling for 15–20 minutes if you want a firmer consistency.
- Assemble the donut burgers shortly before serving to keep the donuts soft and fresh.
- A piping bag helps keep the filling neat and evenly distributed.
- Fresh bakery donuts give the best flavor and texture.
